Brasov Wrap Top... In Velvet!

My friend, Kennis, has been keeping me SO BUSY with fall sewing!  I have another fabulous creation to share with you today: Brasov Wrap Top is in the ITS shop now!! Ok. So I totally over-booked myself last week. My blog for the Sew Long Summer Tour was due to go live, but was unwritten, and I hadn't even taken photos or hemmed my dress. Then, two Itch-To-Stitch pattern tests were posted...to happen concurrently. Of course, I signed up for both.   Pattern Details I adore wrap tops, but the only ones I own are RTW. I knew I had to sew Brasov the minute I saw it. This pattern covers the full size range of 00-20, has the standard ITS PDF Layers Feature, is available in a print shop format, if you prefer not to build tiles yourself, and has lengthen/shorten lines to customize your fit. I've also found that the pleat detail provides plenty of space in the bust for those of us on the larger side of the Bust Cup Scale.  Design Features - Modest front crossover -S

Sew Long Summer: Hello Reese Shift Dress From Sinclair Patterns

I'm back for the 2017 Sew Long Summer Blog Tour, Hosted by Mahlica Designs ! Cross your fingers that I don't accidentally delete this post right before publishing like last year... I didn't leave myself any rewrite room this time. It's no secret that fall is my favorite season. Boots, tights, wool and cool weather, what's not to love? The Pattern A shift dress is an iconic thing that never really goes out of style. I've wanted to add this classic shape to my closet for a long time, but I've always feared that the loosely fitting waist wouldn't flatter me. In August, Oxana Sinclair of Sinclair Patterns invited me to test her newest creation: Reese Shift Dress and I just couldn't resist. When I received the printable files, I was absolutely delighted to discover the dress was being offered in both a standard draft AND a petite draft for the entire size range! Design Features -Jewel Neckline -Sleeveless -Invisible zipper closur
